Corfu man arrested and fined €3,000 for organising private party

CORFU. Another 40 fines were issued in Corfu on Monday 30 November plus 21 in the other Ionian Islands.
Police arrested a man on Monday night (30/11) for organising a private party at his home with 15 people. He was also fined €3,000 and four of the people attending were each fined €300 for lockdown violations. The arrested man was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Monday 30 November fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 16 people in Corfu, 4 in Lefkada, 2 in Cephalonia and 1 in Zakynthos.
On the same day €300 fines were issued for movement violations as follows: 24 in Corfu, 12 in Zakynthos and 2 in Cephalonia.
