Two arrested in Corfu for cocaine and cannabis trafficking

CORFU. Two people were arrested with 1,145g cannabis, a small amount of cocaine and €2,300 in their possession.
Corfu Drugs Squad arrested two people yesterday, Monday 23 November, for drug trafficking.
Following up on information received the two were arrested after it was found that they were regularly trafficking cocaine and cannabis in Corfu.
During the police search conducted in the presence of a judicial officer at the home of one of the two and the business storage room of the other in Corfu Town the following were discovered:
- 1,145g unprocessed cannabis in packages
- 5.7g cocaine in small packages
- €2,300
- Precision scales
- 2 mobile phones
The two were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
