Two Corfiots arrested as leading members of a drug trafficking gang

ATHENS. Police arrested the leading members of a heroin trafficking gang - 2 Corfiots, aged 44 and 38, and a Pakistani aged 42 - in Athens yesterday.
Police were able to track down the 10-member drug-trafficking gang and the 3 leaders - 2 Corfiots, aged 44 and 38, and a Pakistani aged 42 - were arrested.
They were arrested yesterday, Monday 7 September, along with two other members, aged 34 and 35. Three other members of the gang, aged 33,36 and 28, had been arrested previously for cases that the gang was involved in.
443g of heroin was seized and two other foreign nationals, one of them a minor, are being sought.
The arrested persons were taken to appear before the Prosecutor today.
