Corfu Environmental Protection Association demands answers regarding Erimitis

CORFU. Corfu Environmental Protection Association is requesting an update on the Quality of Life Committee΄s decision regarding the study for the Erimitis investment.
The Association also wants to know how the Development Minister Adonis Giorgiades learnt about it before it was properly recorded.
Statement from Corfu Environmental Protection Association
To all relevant authorities in the Municipality of North Corfu:
Following the meeting of the North Corfu Municipality Quality of Life Committee solely to discuss whether to approve the elevation study for roads submitted by NCH Capital and the exceptionally quick update of the Minister, we have some questions for the Chairperson of the Committee and all other responsible Municipal authorities:
Has the Committee come to a decision regarding approval of the study or not?
If there has been a favourable decision, how is it possible that the Minister was immediately informed before it was properly recorded?
If the Committee hasn't arrived at a decision, why doesn't the Chairperson deny the Minister's celebratory claims?
Corfu Environmental Protection Association continues to maintain that Erimitis must be protected and we stand up for our basic principles. Corfu must not be sacrificed in order to fill the central coffers and we will continue to defend the public nature of the only remaining ecosystem in North Corfu.
