CORFU. Lefkimmi Cultural Society has lodged a complaint against the Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Mayor for her intervention.

Complaint lodged by Lefkimmi Cultural Society
"Today, 16/12, the Environmental Director visited Lefkimmi landfill to carry out an inspection regarding environmental pollution as he was obliged to do following a complaint from local residents. Due to the intervention of the Central Corfu Mayor via Mr. Koronakis he was prohibited from entering!! He was still not permitted to enter after the intervention of Yiannis Pandis - not even after the intervention of South Corfu Mayor Kostas Lessis!! We call upon all residents toattend tonight's Municipal Council meeting at the Literature & Arts Centre at 18:30."
