Two men arrested for thefts from North Corfu houses

CORFU. Two men aged 21 and 22 were arrested and another 35-year-old man is being sought.
The two men were arrested in North Corfu on Friday 8 November and charges were brought against them and their 35-year-old accompliced of a series of thefts from houses.
According to the police, the three men were involved in three thefts from houses in North Corfu on Thursday 7 November. They took gold and jewellery valued at 3,500 Euros along with other items.
During a search some of the jewellery was found and returned to the owners. A car, which they had used for the thefts, was confiscated along with a lot of other gold and jewellery.
Police are looking into other similar cases of theft which the men may have been involved in. They were interrogated by the police before being taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
