Cricket match: Corfu says NO to racism

'Together' Project - "No room for racism in cricket!" Cricket match at Gouvia ground.

The civil non-profit company 'International Centre for Sustainable Development' (ICSD) is arranging a cricket match between mixed teams made up of unaccompanied children recently arrived in the country and players from the Hellenic Cricket Federation based in Corfu. The match is one of the activities organised by ICSD as part of its hospitality towards unaccompanied children newly-arrived in the country who are staying temporarily in Igoumenitsa.

The match is a collaborative effort between the Corfu and Igoumenitsa branches of the Hellenic Theatre & Education Network, ICSD and the Hellenic Cricket Federation.

Organisers: Hellenic Theatre & Education Network with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) as part of the 'Together' project - 'What if it were you?'

The project supports activities involving cooperation between local and refugee communities - especially with children and youths.
