Cricket festival for boys and girls

CORFU. Pupils from Athinagoreio, Old Town, and Doukades Primary School will take part.
As part of the European Week of Sport and the BeActive initiative, the Hellenic Cricket Federation is organising a school pupils cricket festival for boys and girls.
On Wednesday, April 1, from 10:00 to 12:00, at Lower Square in Corfu Town.
In case of rain, the festival will take place at the National Sports Centre Indoor Gym.
The following schools will participate in the event:
Athinagoreio Primary School
Corfu Old Town Primary School
Doukades Primary School
The aim of the festival is to introduce pupils to the sport of cricket, promote physical activity, and strengthen school sports through play and teamwork.
The event is organised and coordinated by Head Technical Director (PE teacher) Dimitrios Varzakakos, supported by distinguished athletes, both active and retired:
