Arrests in Corfu, Cephalonia and Lefkada for driving under the influence

CORFU. 5 people were arrested for driving under the influence in Corfu, Cephalonia and Lefkada in the last three days.
Between 1 November and the early hours of 4 November five people aged between 31 and 63 were arrested on the three islands for driving under the influence of alcohol. They were stopped by Traffic Police on the lookout for dangerous driving.
- In Cephalonia a 40-year-old foreign national was stopped by police on Friday evening and was found to be over the limit.
- There were two cases in Corfu on Sunday 3rd - a 63-year-old and a 56-year-old were both found to be over the limit.
- A 31-year-old driver was stopped by police in Lefkada on Sunday evening and a 37-year-old in the early hours of Monday 4 November. Again, both were found to be over the limit.
All five were arrested and taken to appear before the Prosecutor.
