13 foreign nationals arrested at Corfu and Zakynthos airports

CORFU. 13 foreign nationals aged between 22 and 47 who were trying to board international flights were arrested.
Between 2 and 4 September 13 foreign nationals who were trying to travel illegally to other European countries were arrested at Corfu and Zakynthos airports.
Police and Passport Control found that:
- At Corfu Airport two foreign nationals aged 27 and 35 attempted to board flights to the Netherlands and the UK with forged travel documents.
- At Zakynthos Airport, in five separate instances, eleven foreign nationals aged between 22 and 47 attempted to board flights to the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy and the Czech Republic with forged travel documents.
All of them were taken to appear before the Prosecutor.
