Tourists hit pothole - woman injured

CORFU. Two tourists on their motorcycle had the misfortune to hit a large pothole on Tuesday evening.
A woman was injured in the accident, which happened in Faneromeni on the road to Triklino just before the Potamos bridge.
Passersby called an ambulance, which took the injured woman to Corfu Hospital. Following the accident there were comments on social media - most of which talking about Corfu's image as a holiday destination with such dangerous roads.
Magda Panaretou, who posted these photos on the Facebook Page 'Your complaints to the Mayor', said: "These are shameful photos. It is such a pity - what impression will people have of the island?"
