Motorcyclist killed in Sotiriotissa road accident

CORFU. The motorcyclist died in hospital a few hours later.
A serious road accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, September 27, in the Sotiriotissa area, when a motorcycle veered off course and subsequently caught fire, resulting in the severe injury of both riders (a man and a woman).
The two people were immediately taken by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital with burns. The man, aged 37, was placed in the ICU due to his serious condition. Unfortunately, he died a few hours later.
The woman is also hospitalied, but her life is not in danger.
The police are conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
