CORFU. Suspect has disappeared.
Corfu Port Authority was notified that a person, identity unknown, had been spotted outside the perimeter fence of the New Port. Port personnel immediately went to the spot and closed it off but the person had already disappeared. They found a black backpack in which there were four glass bottles containing petrol and pieces of cloth soaked in petrol stuffed in the necks along with pliers.
The Port Authority is now conducting an investigation.
