Two foreign nationals arrested in Kontokali with 2.5kg cannabis

CORFU. Two foreign nationals aged 26 and 35 were arrested for cannabis trafficking in Kontokali on Friday evening.
The Corfu Drug Squad investigation found that the two men had been involved in importing, storing and trafficking cannabis in Corfu.
The foreign nationals' home in Kontokali was searched by police in the presence of a judicial officer and the following were found and confiscated:
- Packages with approximately 2.785kg unprocessed cannabis
- Electronic precision scales
- 2 mobile phones
The two men were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
