CORFU. Let΄s get ready for another ΄wonderful summer΄ said Magda Papanikolopoulou, President of Temploni Cultural Society.
Her statement came after the announcement of a second postponement of the hearing for the injunction filed calling for the cessation of work at the landfill due to violations of environmental regulations.
The first postponement was granted on 13 February. Today a postponement was requested by the Ionian Islands Regional Administration due to the absence of a basic witness - the environmental supervisor. The lawyers for Temploni Cultural Society objected to the request but the judge ruled in favour of the posponement and set a new date for the hearing - 20 March 2019.
