Public meeting in Temploni: Update on the landfill and the Green Spot

CORFU. Temploni Cultural Society is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 28 November at 17:30 at Temploni Nursery School.
The Society's invitation
"We would like to invite you to an extraordinary public meeting where there will be updates and discussion on the following:
1. The current situation with the landfill and actions being taken by the Society.
2. The Mayor's statements about the establishment of a facility in our area - get updates on the true facts.
3. The establishment of a Green Spot - participation and volunteerism.
If you are concerned about the environment in which we and, more importantly, our children live, then you need to come to this meeting."
Ongoing recycling
Meanwhile, the collection of recyclable materials is continuing at the Green Spot which has been set up outside the nursery school and the results up to now have been extremely successful.
Every Monday and Friday 16:00 - 18:00 we collect the following:
Paper, glass, plastic bottle tops, aluminium, metal, batteries, light bulbs, small packages and cooking oil.
