The strike is aligned to the 24-hour strike on 28 November called by GSEE (General Confederation of Greek Workers).
There will be a 24-hour strike by all public and private Greek mass media (print, radio & TV, internet) including ERT, GGEE (General Secretariat for Information & Communication), ANA-MPA (Athens News Agency - Macedonian Press Agency) and the Press Office. The strike begins at 06:00 on Tuesday 27th and ends at 06:00 on Wednesday 28th.
According to the statement that has been issued, the workers demand: "Restoration of the system of collective labour agreements, support for the industry's insurance fund, respectable wages, salaries and pensions, protection of first residences, free union activities and cessation of the heavy taxation of workers' income."
