PATRAS. At the Mixed Jury Court in Patras today the prosecutor demanded that all nine accused be found guilty for the murder of the American tourist Bakari Henderson in Lagana, Zakynthos in July 2017 - each to a different degree and for a different role in the crime.

The prosecutor demanded heavy sentences for six of the accused but much lighter for the Greek barman and asked for charges to be brought against the owner of the bar where the incident occurred and one more barman.

The prosecutor asked for six of the nine accused (five Serbs and one Anglo-Bosnian) to be found guilty of killing with fraudulent intent, in a calm state of mind and in complicity.

The prosecutor asked that the Greek barman be found guilty of mere collusion and the other two Serbs of bodily harm which didn't lead to death.

He also asked for charges to be brought against the owner of the bar for collusion, illegal possession of weapons and perjury as well as another barman for illegal possession of weapons and perjury.

The prosecutor dismissed the idea that the killing of the American tourist was racially motivated and put it down to pure anti-social behaviour on the part of the accused - to 'hooliganism' as he called it.
