ATHENS. The organisation was also responsible for the execution of two 44-year-old men from Slovenia and one from Montenegro who were dining at a taverna in Athens.

A criminal organisation from Serbia, responsible for the execution, among others, of two Montenegrins who were murdered in Halkidona in July 2020, has been broken up. The operation involved the Hellenic Police in cooperation with Interpol.

The organisation was also responsible for the execution of two 44-year-old men from Slovenia and one from Montenegro who were dining at a taverna in Vari in Athens.

In 2020, the criminal organisation was responsible for the murders of Alan Kozar from Bar, Montenegro, and Damir Hadzic from Serbian Uzice, both around 50 years old, who were found on the night of Thursday, July 23, 2020, in a car parked in the parking lot of a rented villa in the area of Halikouna.

The police had been alerted by a masseuse who had a scheduled appointment with the victims. At the crime scene, 21 shell casings were found.

The two men were accused of a series of crimes, and an international arrest warrant had been issued for their apprehension.

The murders appear to be part of a war between rival organisations that erupted after the loss of 200 kilograms of heroin in 2014. The battle between the organisations has cost the lives of more than 23 people in Europe (at least 4 in Greece).
