CORFU. Doxiades Technical Company visited the Port Authority offices on Thursday. The official opening of the new Cruise Ship terminal will take place on September 3.
The intense preparations for the privatization of cruise ship management at Corfu Port are continuing. At the moment data from the last 10 years is being evaluated - both from cruises and other port activities - in order to prepare the invitation for tender. To this end a team from Doxiades Technical Company came to Corfu on Thursday and worked with the Authority Board. A few days ago representatives from Ernst & Young were here.
Meanwhile, Corfu Port Authority announced that the official opening of the new terminal for cruise ship passengers (Home Port) will take place on Monday 3 September at 20:00. The intention is to make Corfu Port a Home Port.
