Well-known cultivator of cannabis arrested for the seventh time - and released after appearing before the Prosecutor

CORFU. Yet again - for the seventh time - police arrested a man well-known to them, who claims he cultivates cannabis for personal medical use. This time another man wasalso arrested.
Cannabis plants were confiscated, charges were brought and they were released.
According to police information, two Greeks, aged 50 and 54, were arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Corfu by members of Corfu Drugs Squad for the cultivation and trafficking of cannabis.
The 50-year-old was arrested first when cannabis plants were discovered outside his house. At the house of the 54-year-old more cannabis plants were found as well as quantities in packages.
In total, the following were found and confiscated:
- 30 cannabis plants
- packages with cannabis weighing 350g in total
- small amounts of unprocessed cannabis
The police sniffer dog 'Vamma' also took part in the searches.
The arrested men were taken to the Corfu Prosecutor's Office.
