CORFU. The trial of the Temploni residents accused of attacking a municipal vehicle at the landfill facility and causing damage began on Wednesday and is continuing on Thursday.
The incident occurred on Sunday 20th May when a group from the town council, led by the Mayor, arrived at the facility - leading to the arrest of the Mayor and the court verdict against him.
Mayor Kostas Nikolouzos was a prosecution witness on Wednesday at the trial, which is continuing today, Thursday.
