Hydroponic cannabis lab discovered in South Corfu

CORFU. A 42-year-old man was arrested and 64 plants and 969g unprocessed cannabis confiscated.
A 42-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 22nd) afternoon for cultivation, possession and trafficking of cannabis.
In a search conducted by police in south Corfu yesterday afternoon the 42-year-old was found to have a lab for the cultivation of hydroponic cannabis (skunk) in his home as well as packages of unprocessed cannabis.
In the search that followed, in the presence of a court official, cannabis cultivation equipment (lamps, timers) was found and confiscated, as well as the following:
- 22 hydroponically cultivated plants (skunk) in the lab
- 42 cannabis plants outside the house
- 969g unprocessed cannabis in packages
- A package with small amounts of processed cannabis
- Electronic scales with traces of unprocessed cannabis
- A mobile phone
The 42-year-old will appear before the Corfu Prosecutor on charges of cultivation and trafficking of cannabis.
