CORFU. Celebratory events start today for the National Holiday.
Flags were displayed and there were speeches at all the schools today about the importance of the national anniversary.
Wreaths were then laid at Iro in Corfu Town by students, pupils, scouts and guides led by their teachers accompanied by the Philharmonic (Brass) Band.
