CORFU. The Fire Service has issued a list of the instances they had to deal with after this weekend’s thunderstorms.

South Corfu: (Perivoli, Ag. Theodori, Potami-Molos, Kritika)

100 trees sawn
3 people rescued

Paxos: (Boyiatika, Fontana, Kaki Lagada, Ag. Charalambos)

60 trees sawn

Central Corfu: (Chrisida, Gouvia, Potamos)

Water pumped out of 10 locations

The Fire Service was able to respond in a timely way, using 20 vehicles and 40 personnel.
