Breastfeeding support sessions at Corfu Surgery
CORFU. The Centre’s April meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
The Hellenic Society of Social Paediatrics and Health Promotion (Corfu branch), the Corfu Medical and Social Centre (IAK), and Corfu Medical and Surgical Society (IXEK) are organising meetings, with the participation of a paediatrician, health visitors from IAK, and other specialists, on topics related to breastfeeding and motherhood.
The meetings are held in the IXEK hall (Corfu Surgery, Skaramanga Square). Admission is free, and they are open not only to expectant parents but also to anyone interested in becoming an advocate of this invaluable gift to our children—breastfeeding—supporting motherhood. Mothers who are already breastfeeding are encouraged to be the best example, may attend with their infants, and share their experiences.
The Centre’s meeting for the month of April will take place on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Those interested should call the Corfu IAK at 26610 22863 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or IXEK from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
