Vidos Island shuttle service begins on Wednesday - with temporary arrangement

CORFU. The Department of Social Welfare, Education,Culture & Sport and the Municipal Councillor for Vidos and Lazareto have issued a statement.
Statement:
Vidos Island Shuttle Service from 16 June
The shuttle service to Vidos Island will begin tomorrow, Wednesday 16 June.
The arrangement is temporary and the main priority is to transfer municipal employees carrying out necessary work on the island but will at the same time also provide transport for visitors.
This arrangement will remain in place until the municipal boat Agios Stefanos comes into service, which is estimated to be at the beginning of July.
The set-off point will be in the Old Harbour at Cafe Yiali and the ticket will cost €2 for all passengers.
The service will run every two hours - on the hour from Corfu and on the half-hour returning from Vidos:
Monday - Friday
From Corfu - 09:00 / 11:00 / 13:00 / 14:00 / 15:00 / 17:00 / 18:00
From Vidos - 09:30 / 11:30 / 13:30 / 14:30 / 15:30 / 17:30 / 19:00
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
From Corfu - 09:00 / 11:00 / 13:00 / 14:00 / 15:00 / 17:00 / 18:00
From Vidos - 09:30 / 11:30 / 13:30 / 14:30 / 15:30 / 17:30 / 19:30 / 20:30
The maximum number of passengers on the boat is 11 and the frequency of the service will depend on the number of passengers regardless of the above timetable
