CORFU. Efforts were made to resuscitate him but to no avail.
A 52-year-old man, resident of Agios Mathaios, was pulled out of the sea unconscious in Halikouna on Sunday afternoon at around 12:45. .
An ambulance came to the scene immediately and paramedics tried to resuscitate him but to no avail.
He was taken to Corfu Hospital, where death was confirmed. An autopsy will be carried out.
