North Corfu: New school building works

CORFU. Work to be done at the following primary and secondary schools: Kavadades Nursery, Nissaki Nursery, Agros Primary, Kassiopi Primary, Peroulades Junior High, Agros Junior High & High, Karousades Junior High and Kassiopi Junior High & High.
Contracts for the repair and maintenance of primary and secondary school buildings in North Corfu were signed on Thursday 4 August by Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris and the representative of the contracting company Socrates Xepapadeas in the presence of Deputy Mayor for Works, Development, Investment and Municipal Real Estate Haritonas Koutsouris.
The work will be carried out at the following primary and secondary schools: Kavadades Nursery, Nissaki Nursery, Agros Primary, Kassiopi Primary, Peroulades Junior High, Agros Junior High & High, Karousades Junior High and Kassiopi Junior High & High.
North Corfu Municipality statement:
"At these difficult times North Corfu Municipality is giving priority to education. We are giving practical support to state education and the improvement and upgrading of school infrastructure.
The Municipality is focussing on necessary work to improve conditions at the schools and the repairs and maintenance now being undertaken will contribute significantly to the creation of modern and safe school buildings."
