CORFU. A total of six people were arrested in Corfu and Zakynthos for noise pollution and playing music outside allowed times.
As part of their ongoing checks of cafe bars and entertainment venues, Ionian Islands police arrested six business owners in Corfu and Zakynthos last night (25/7) and early this morning for disturbing the peace and playing music outwith the times allowed.
North Corfu - Three people were arrested for disturbing the peace and playing music outside the allowed times.
Lagana and Tsilivi, Zakynthos - Three people were arrested for exceeding the allowed noise levels.
All those arrested were taken to appear before their respective prosecutors.
