All Together for Corfu completes 3-month clean-up of Vidos Island

CORFU. Statement from Spyros Neratzis
Spyros Neratzis from All Together for Corfu released the following statement following the completion of three months' work on Vidos Island, which began on the first weekend of October.
We are happy that we achieved our goals!
The weekends and holidays over three months, seven vehicles and one team full of love and passion for Vidos were enough to completely make over the large beach on the island.
The Russian fort, the water tank and well are now visible once more from the beach.
We would like to thank the supervisor at the Municipal Urban Green Department for the help and provision of materials.
The view with the early morning rays of sun will take away all tiredeness, replacing it with passion and enthusiasm!
Following the completion of the work, we were reminded of what Archimedes said: "Give me but a firm spot on which to stand, and I shall move the earth" and we hope that very soon the Municipality will provide the means by which All Together for Corfu can transform Vidos!
