CORFU. The free lessons will begin in the new year.
On the occasion of International Migrants Day, the North Corfu branch of the Federation of Greek Women (OGE) is expressing its support for the thousands of working women immigrants who were forced to leave their countries and to continue their life in Greece.
It is also expressing its support for the thousands of young Greek women working worldwide who couldn't find work here.
Young women and families with young children or old people are leaving their country in order to find better conditions.
We are united by common hopes and dreams and the struggle for survival and a better life in a society without exploitation. A struggle for health, children's education and humane working conditions, where our children can have all the benefits of the 21st century.
OGE is organising free Greek lessons for foreigners - men and women - in North Corfu. The lessons will begin in the new year.
