British tourists in Corfu in September & October

ATHENS. According to Fraport data, there were almost twice as many flight arrivals at Corfu airport in September compared to last year, results that are as expected.
In particular, about 200,000 international passengers arrived.
In fact, since travel from the UK was allowed once again, the country is again on top of the list of flight arrivals, followed by Germany, Poland, France and Italy.
During the same period, there was also a 83,5% increase in the number of domestic flights at Corfu Capodistrias Airport.

The number of international flights that arrived in Corfu in the first two weeks of October, surpassed the number of approximately 500 flights of October 2020.
To date, a total of 589 flights have passed through the Corfu airport, when last year a total of 494 flights had landed on the airport the entire month. UK tops the list of commercial flight arrivals with 178 flights, followed by Germany with 158 and Poland with only 45.
“By October 14, we surpassed the number of October 2020, since we already have 589 flights before the end of the month. The British and Germans are the ones with the most flights in October, as usual, and will be the last tourists of the season,” Corfu Civil Aviation Employees' Union President Dimitris Roussos told Enimerosi.
