Mass demonstration against Hadjidakis employment legislation

CORFU. A large number of people gathered outside Corfu Workers΄ Centre for today΄s protest demonstration.
There is a 24-hour nationwide strike in the public and private sectors as well as the unemployed and pensioners protesting against the government's proposed employment legislation.
In order to protect public health tourism and catering employees gathered in Alexandras Avenue, public sector workers outside Eurobank and private sector workers, including construction workers and youth, gathered in Samaras St.
SYRIZA representatives were also present at the demonstration, including Corfu MP Alexandros Avlonitis and former MP Kostas Pavlidis. Corfu KINAL MP Dimitris Biangis was also there.
There was live music at the protest and there will be a march through the central streets of Corfu Town.
