Another 2 school pupils test positive for Covid-19 - both classes closed

CORFU. A 6th Year class at Corfu 12th Primary School has been closed for 14 days after a pupil tested positive for Covid-19 and lessons will be conducted online.
According to the school head Mr. Lefas, the pupil was showing symptoms this morning and after his temperature had been taken he was isolated in a special room. With his mother present, he then took a rapid test at a public facility which came out positive.
Lessons were stopped in his class and the remaining pupils went home to remain in isolation as a precaution. A complete disinfection was then carried out.
A pupil in the 2nd Year of Corfu 2nd Junior High School also tested positive and the same procedure was followed. The teacher will remain in quarantine and class lessons will be conducted online.
