CORFU. The Centre will coordinate all community activities.
A new Community Centre for North Corfu has been established in the former Town Hall in Kouloura with funding of €112,320 from the European Social Fund.
The aim of the Centre is to coordinate all social activities with the support of the local authority and in collaboration with the local social welfare services provide community support and operate as a hub to serve residents and connect them with all the Community Programmes and Social Welfare services in the area.
According to the needs of the public, the North Corfu Municipality will provide a general advisory service, develop creative employment activities and job opportunities for the young, organise educational and social events, offer legal advice, develop a network of volunteers as well as assist in the integration of pupils with special needs and children with learning difficulties etc.
