Two tourists with mild symptoms in quarantine hotel. 16 new samples sent from Corfu Hospital for tests

CORFU. For unknown reasons the Regional Administration didn΄t issue an update today although it had said there was going to be one every Friday - with the first one issued last week.
Two tourists who gave samples at the airport were tested positive for coronavirus and were taken to the quarantine hotel. Thos travelling with them were advised to limit their movements.
There has not been much change in the situation at the hospital, but the woman who had been hospitalised in the special unit on the 4th floor was discharged today.
The hospital sent 16 samples to be tested and the results are expected on Friday night.
The family of the 20-year-old who tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday went to the hospital this morning to receive instructions. The doctors explained to them that even if they had done mass tests it is probable that would all have been negative as the virus has an incubation period of one week before symptoms appear. They were told to limit their movements and avoid large numbers of people.
