All aboard! Shuttle service to Vidos Island has begun

CORFU. The Municipal shuttle boat has been freshened up for its ΄maiden΄ trip to Vidos Island at 07:00 on Friday 10 July. The shuttle service runs daily until 22:00.
At last! On Thursday 9 July the Municipal Councillor responsible for Vidos Island, Spyros Neratzis, collected the final document needed in order to begin the Municipal shuttle service to Vidos Island.
The final document was the certificate of seaworthiness from Corfu Central Port Authority. As soon as Spyros Neratzis had that in his hands it was 'full steam ahead'!
The boat began its shuttle service to Vidos Island early on Friday 10 July at 07:00.
The shuttle service will operate daily on the hour every hour from 07:00 to 22:00 to take members of the public to and from Vidos Island.
A lot of work was needed to make the vessel ship-shape but now Corfiots and visitors will be able to enjoy summer days and evenings on the beautiful little island.
