New judicial documents for Temploni landfill - Temploni Association meets with Prosecutors

CORFU. Board members of Temploni Cultural Society met with Corfu Prosecutors on Wednesday.
Society President Magda Papanikolopoulou updated the two Prosecutors - who are both new to Corfu - on the latest developments with regard to the pollution in the area and had the results of the chemical analyses that had been carried out on the Society's initiative.
She expressed her disappointment that the Temploni landfill case had been dismissed, which, she said, undermined people's faith in the justice system. Ms. Papanikolopoulou also updated them on the current situation in the area.
Ms. Papaniikolopoulou said afterwards that the Prosecutor Dionysis Lambridis has already drawn up new judicial documents and asked for the President to provide a statement with any updates to be included in the file.
The meeting with the other Prosecutor Konstantinos Koukoutsis was of a more general nature and Ms. Papanikolopoulou was again asked to submit a statement.
