Two men arrested in Lefkimmi for cultivation of cannabis

CORFU. Two men aaged 28 and 30 were arrested in possession of cannabis plants and hydroponic equipment.
The Regional Drugs Squad arrested two men aged 28 and 30 on the night of Thursday 18 June. When the 30-year-old was examined at Lefkimmi Port he admitted that he and the 28-year-old had planted cannabis plants in storage space at his home.
A search was then carried out at the homes of both men and the following were found:
- Hydroponic equipment for the cultivation of cannabis with UV lamps, adapters, fans and ventilation system.
- 12 cannabis plants 30 - 73cm in height in 10 pots.
- 6 Lexotanile pills
- electronic precision scales
The above were seized by Corfu Central Port Authority, which is conducting the investigation, and the 30-year-old has been forbidden from leaving the country.
A search was then carried out at the homes of both men and the following were found:
