Motorcyclist, 20, arrested after knocking over and abandoning 70-year-old pedestrian

CORFU. The accident happened just outside Corfu Town.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on the night of Thursday, March 28th, in Corfu Town as in the afternoon of the same day, in a suburb of the town, he was riding a motorcycle and hit a 70-year-old pedestrian, resulting in minor injuries, and then left her at the scene of the accident.

Traffic Police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the accident, and the resulting case file will be forwarded to the Corfu Prosecutor.
