Fire breaks out in refuse truck in Theotoki Street

CORFU. Three fire engines with eight firefighters rushed to the scene.
A fire broke out on Friday morning, September 12, for reasons still unknown, in a refuse truck on I. Theotoki Street, near Masoutis supermarket. The refuse truck was moving when it happened. The driver and the other occupant are in good health.
The area filled with smoke, while many passersby stopped and watched in shock as the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
Three fire engines with eight firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.
