DEYAK says water at Panayiopoula, Faliraki unsuitable for swimming

DEYAK has announced that the small beach at Panagia Megalomata (Panagiopoulas) in Faliraki will remain closed for swimming. It has been cordoned off and special signage has been placed at the site indicating that the water is unsuitable, and the ban will remain in effect until further notice from DEYAK.

Swimmers are strongly advised to avoid entering the sea in order to prevent potential health issues or skin infections. DEYAK is conducting further tests and investigating the cause of the contamination to restore the situation as soon as possible.
