Water supply problems continuing in Potamos and Evropouli
CORFU. According to DEYAK, normal water supply will be restored on Thursday evening, 24 July.
For the third consecutive day, areas in Potamos and Evropouli continue to experience problems with their water supply.
When Enimerosi contacted DEYAK on Wednesday, July 23rd, we were informed that the issue is due to an electrical problem at the pumping station that supplies these areas with water.
Today, July 24th, DEYAK announced that crews are on site working to repair the damage, and the estimate is that normal water supply will be restored on Thursday evening, July 24th. The announcement states:
“Problems have arisen in the water supply to the areas of Evropouli and Potamos due to the malfunctioning of the pumping station that supplies them with water. The company's crews are on site to resolve the issues.
The restoration of normal water supply in these areas is estimated to be completed this evening, 24/07/2025.”
