"The major Infrastructure and Development project we envisioned and have worked on for the past five years, in collaboration with the management of the Corfu Port Authority, TAIPED, the relevant Ministries, and local authorities, is now on course for realisation. Personally, I am particularly pleased, as I believed in this project from the very beginning and have worked towards it. The new Mega Yacht Marina in Corfu will become a point of reference for the local community and economy, bringing development, increased activity, higher-quality tourism, new jobs, and numerous economic benefits to the island.
I would like to especially thank the CEO of TAIPED, Dimitris Politis, and the President of the Corfu Port Authority, Spyros Zervopoulos, for the excellent and effective collaboration. The next step is parliamentary ratification of the Agreement and the beginning of the marina’s construction, which I will closely monitor at every stage.
Today is a very good day for Corfu."
