Coach driver΄s death not due to medical reasons

The medical examiner, Dr. Aivatidis, did not identify medical causes of death during the autopsy he conducted on the body of the tourist coach driver, Yiannis Manatos. As the paramedics had also reported, there were many injuries due to the severe collision with the tow away truck, which caused his extremely violent and instantaneous death, as confirmed by the medical examiner.

Thus, it remains a mystery what contributed to the vehicle's erratic course, which was attributed to the driver's sudden loss of consciousness. In response to our question, the examiner believes that this tragic development should be further investigated by other examining authorities.
