Small ΄seismic tremors΄ in Roda area cause concern among local residents

According to complaints from residents of the Roda area, which we received on Saturday morning, May 18th, loud noises resembling seismic tremors have been heard in the area.

Speaking with the President of the Roda Community, Makis Nikokavouras, he told us that the old Irini hotel, which is under the control of the Mayor company, is being rebuilt in the area.

The noises heard are due to the demolition of certain buildings located on the hotel grounds. According to Mr. Nikokavouras, there is no cause for concern, as the work is being carried out during legally permitted hours and will cease at 3:00 p.m.
