House fire in Koulines

CORFU. A 70-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

A fire broke out in a house in the Koulines area in the early hours of Saturday, January 27th. According to information from the fire department, they received the call at around 3:45, and three vehicles with eight firefighters rushed to the scene.

The fire was extinguished, causing minor material damage, but one person was slightly injured - a 70-year-old man who lived alone. He was taken to hospital by ambulance, having minor burns on his hands.

A team from the Fire Department is at the scene to determine the exact causes of the fire.
