Another member of cocaine trafficking gang remanded in custody

On Tuesday afternoon, 16/1, the testimonies of three more members of the criminal organisation that were arrested for cocaine trafficking in Corfu were heard.

A Greek woman was ordered to be held in custody after her testimony, while the dishonourably discharged police officer and another local woman were released with restrictive conditions and bail. However, tomorrow an Albanian woman, who was also arrested for involvement in the criminal organisation, is scheduled to appear again before the Corfu Prosecutor.

On Monday afternoon, two Albanian members of the Greek-Albanian gang were also remanded in custody.

The alleged 'mastermind', a 38-year-old Albanian, will appear before the prosecutor on Saturday, concluding this stage of the procedures.
