Auction for historic Desyllas factory cancelled

The online auction of the historic Desylla factory was cancelled today. The auction was scheduled for 10 in the morning.

According to the notary office in Athens, which was handling the auction, there was no interest from anyone to purchase the property in Garitsa.

The former industrial complex 'Desylla', covering an area of 37 stremma, was put up for auction by Piraeus Bank to cover debts of the owners amounting to 500,000 Euros, with an initial price of 8.23 million Euros.

However, during the two-hour auction, there were no interested buyers. To be auctioned again, there will need to be a declaration of continuation from Piraeus Bank.
